A shift needs covering.
You already asked who’s free.
Coverlook keeps the answer.
Record your team’s weekly availability once. When a shift opens up, see who can cover it — no spreadsheets, no messages, no memory work.
01 / YOUR PEOPLE, THEIR AVAILABILITY
Enter names and their regular days once.
Add each person and the days and times they normally work. Sunday–Saturday, any hours. You type it once and Coverlook remembers it — no repeating yourself every week.
| Name | Day | Available |
|---|---|---|
| Alice Chen | Monday | 09:00–17:00 |
| Bob Torres | Monday | 10:00–15:00 |
| Carol Okonkwo | Monday | 08:00–12:00 |
| David Kim | Monday | Not available |
02 / HOW IT WORKS
Three steps, ten seconds.
Add your people
Type a name — Alice, Bob, Carol. Coverlook saves each person to your roster.
Record their availability
For each person, pick the day and the start/end times they said they’re free. Repeat for every day they named.
Ask who can cover
When a shift opens up, pick the day and time. Coverlook shows you everyone whose availability fully contains that shift — no guessing, no double-checking.
03 / WHAT IT DOES
A coverage checker, not a scheduling suite.
Coverlook answers one question: who is free for this shift? It does that simply, and it does nothing else.
✓ Record a person’s weekly availability once
✓ Query who is available for any day and time window
✓ Export your roster as CSV for your scheduling tool
✓ Strict coverage: the person’s availability must fully contain the shift
04 / WHAT IT WILL NOT DO
Honest about what this tool is not.
This is a single-person utility for one coordinator. It replaces a spreadsheet, not a scheduling platform. Here is what it does not do — and that is intentional:
- No team features. Only one person can use this roster. There are no shared logins, no delegation, no multi-user access.
- No invitations or sharing links. You cannot email availability or share a link — the fleet has no sender. Export CSV for that.
- No scheduling. Coverlook does not assign shifts, notify people, resolve conflicts, or build a schedule. It only answers who is free.
- No integrations. No calendar sync, no Slack or Teams, no API for other tools. CSV export is the only way to get data out.
- No mobile app. This is a web app. It works in a mobile browser, but there is no native app.
- No artificial intelligence. Coverage is a strict time-range check. No skill matching, no availability prediction, no pattern learning.
- No email. This product will never send email. No notifications, no reminders, no confirmations.
05 / WHO IT IS FOR
One person managing a small roster.
Coverlook is made for exactly one person who coordinates other people. If that sounds like you, it will save you time.
If you manage a team-of-teams, run a call centre, or need approvals and workflows, this is not the tool for you. A scheduling suite will serve you better.
06 / WHAT A RESULT LOOKS LIKE
Who is free for the Monday 10:00–14:00 shift?
| Name | Available window | Covers the shift? |
|---|---|---|
| Alice Chen | Mon 09:00–17:00 | ✓ Yes |
| Bob Torres | Mon 10:00–15:00 | ✓ Yes |
| Carol Okonkwo | Mon 08:00–12:00 | — No (leaves before 14:00) |
| David Kim | Not available Monday | — No |
Strict coverage means a person is only listed if their availability fully contains the shift. Partial availability — arriving late or leaving early — does not qualify.
07 / COMMON QUESTIONS
Objections you might be thinking.
Can I share this with another coordinator?
No. Coverlook is built for one person. Data is tied to your account and is not shareable. If you need shared access, use a spreadsheet or a scheduling platform.
What happens to my data? Is it private?
Your data is stored in a database scoped to your account. Only you can see it. You can export or delete it at any time. See the privacy page for details.
What if a person’s availability changes?
Edit it — remove the old slot and add the new one. There is no history or versioning; what you record is the current truth.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The interface is responsive and works in a mobile browser. There is no native app, but it works on any device with a browser.
Why do you need my email?
To create a unique account so your data stays yours. We do not send email. We do not share your email. See the privacy page.
